How To Convert Word To JPG – This Is How It Works

We will show you how to convert your Word document into an image file in JPG format.

Unlike when converting to another text format, such as .odt to .docx, Word does not initially provide a direct option for saving your file in the popular JPG image format. However, it is often helpful to convert your text file into an image to use it in other programs. We’ll show you how to save your Word document as a JPG.

Windows standard tools

  • Step 1: Open your Word document and highlight the entire text of a page. Then copy it with [Ctrl] + [C] . Then click on ” File ” in the upper left corner.
  • 2nd step: Now select ” New ” on the left and then click on ” Empty Document “.
  • 3rd step: Now click on the ” Insert ” button at the top left. Then select the option ” Paste Special ” from the drop-down menu.
  • 4th step: Then select the ” Image (Extended Metafile) ” option and click ” OK “.
  • 5th step: Now right click on the picture and select ” Save as graphic”.
  • 6th step: As the ” file type “, then select ” JPEG file format “. Then give your file a suitable name and click ” Save “.

  • Step 1: Open your file in Word. Make sure that the entire document is visible. If necessary, set the zoom to 100% or according to your image section.
  • 2nd step: To take a screenshot, open the ” Snipping Tool ” program, click on ” New “, and use the mouse to draw a frame around the entire document.
  • 3rd step: Then click on ” File ” and ” Save As “. Here you can choose a storage location and name the image.

Step 1: In Word, open the file you want to convert and press the ” Print ” button on your keyboard to capture the entire screen. Pay attention to the setting of the zoom factor and adjust it if necessary. In this step, you can either select the entire page or just one area.

2nd step: Then open Paint and press the key combination [Ctrl] + [V] or click on ” File ” and ” Paste “. The screenshot of your document that you took in the first step will now be automatically inserted into Paint.

3rd step: You can now crop your picture so that only the document and not the Word interface can be seen. To do this:

  • Draw a frame around your Word document (blue dashed line).
  • Make sure that ” Select ” is activated.
  • Click on ” Crop “.

4th step: When you are satisfied with your image section, click on ” File ” and ” Save as ” or press [Ctrl] + [S]. Here you can select the ” JPG ” format directly.
